SUPERVISOR: Delaware County Services Manager
Responsible for the coordination of front office activities and presenting
a positive organizational image as our point of first contact with the public.
Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
Maintain customer ledger.
Coordinate and schedule appointments, and greet customers.
Organize office operations and procedures, such as typing, mailing, filing, and other clerical services.
Comply with all policies and standards of the organization.
Ensure a confidential work environment.
Assure that the facilities are presentable to the public at all times.
Assure proper maintenance of all equipment and furnishings.
Perform routine clerical functions and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma.
Above average communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Familiarity and use of office equipment.
Knowledge of and sensitivity to the needs of low-income, elderly, and minority residents.
Human relations skills to deal effectively with visitors/customers in person or on the telephone.
Dependable means of transportation on a daily basis.
Low physical effort required to sit, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, and walk. Maximum unassisted lift = 35lbs. Average lift less than 10lbs.
Requires ability to use a keyboard and monitor.
Also requires the ability to communicate verbally both in person and on the telephone.
Inside average office environment.
Average office noise levels.
No personal protective equipment required.
Ambient temperature between 68 and 76F.
