The Ohio Benefit Bank is a free service designed to help Delaware, Madison
& Union County residents apply for and receive federal benefits for which they
may be eligible.
Many people do not receive the help they need because they are not aware they
are eligible, or they do not know how to apply. Assistance may include:
• Food assistance – SNAP (formerly known as food stamps)
• Medication, prescription, and other medical assistance
• Child care and financial aid for college
• Adult education and employment assistance
• Home energy assistance (HEAP) and weatherization
• Tax filing and tax credit
• Ohio Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
• Senior Employment Program
• Tax filing and tax credit
• Registering to vote, and more...
Community Action Organization of Delaware, Madison &
Union Counties knows that applying for benefits can be a confusing, time
consuming and difficult experience. CAODMU’s Ohio Benefit Bank Counselor will
simplify the process – assisting with the completion and submission of
